The school is an independent high school for young women. We embrace the vision and core values of His Royal Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum who founded our school in 1999 and are justifiably proud of our great history in The Gambia. For many years now, our graduates have gone on to Higher Institutions of learning—and ultimately lives—formed by the education they received here.
As a learning community, the school is committed to preparing students for the future by providing programs and activities that advance academic excellence and service to others, foster spiritual, personal and physical growth, and promote inclusion of all community members and embody the core values of education.
The school is committed to its Islamic heritage while welcoming families of all faiths and backgrounds. We offer an innovative approach to the curriculum that integrates technology, promotes creativity, encourages artistic expression and actively engages students in exploration and inquiry. While offering an academically challenging curriculum, we respect that the goal of education is to nurture children to become curious learners for life.
