Admission and Entry Requirements

Sheikh Hamdan Senior Secondary school for Girls has equal opportunity policy for all female students between the ages of 12 and 18 regardless of Nationality, religion, tribe and financial status.

The School’s admission committee handles all admission matters. Students applying to Grade 10 are expected to have achieved good results (i.e. aggregate 6 – 40) in the Gambia Basic Education Certificate Examination (GABECE). Students from other senior schools that are interested to continue their studies in Sheikh Hamdan are also welcome.
